Nic - Volunteer

Nic has been part of PICCPals since day one (being the husband of our Chairperson Nikki).   In the early days he was responsible for ordering and transporting resources from house to house, now he takes the lead delivering and driving resources and volunteers to and from sessions (hence his nickname 'Parker').  He was also instrumental in the build of both our first Volunteer Centre (affectionately known as the VC) and our newest relocated VC, working without complaint with another of our stalwart volunteers Garry, to transform unloved spaces into places where we have been able to pack and distribute upwards of 100 orders per week.  

Nic is always available to support any venture or fund raising event whether it is barbecuing for 50 houseguests, counting money during a horse race night or hosting a quiz team.  He never complains when his kitchen (he loves to cook!) is taken over by a board or trustee meeting and appears to have the patience of a saint - we are not sure that we would be where we are now without diamonds like Nic and we are forever grateful for his support, kindness and care.
